Where's (Wanny) Oignies?
Our Christmas French Geography Quiz
Un petit quiz geographique pour le Noël... Our french map quiz was very popular on our stall at the Dickensian Market the other week, so we thought we'd give the rest of the membership an opportunity to try out their knowledge of French Geography for a bit of Christmas fun. At the Dickensian we had six completely correct entries (None of them members of the Twinning...). Why not have a go and see how many cities you can guess.
Below is a map of France, with the locations of 20 French cities each marked with a number. Try and match each number with one of the 20 cities on the list: points are awarded for each correct answer, with the more tricky ones scoring more points. Oignies is worth the most, with 5 points if you get it right.
I'll post the correct answers just before Christmas, and I'll also bring along a copy of the solution to the Christmas Social at the Cheshire Cheese on Tuesday 20th December (Details here).
