A quick look back at 2025

My first year as Chair has been great. My drop in sessions every month have been a success. I plan to carry on with them, on Wednesday mornings, through 2026. The next meet is on Wednesday 14th January, from 11am at the Pavilion Gardens Café.
A year of events and fundraisers means that we are in a good position financially going forwards. We mustn't get complacent. Please keep supporting!
The AGM and quiz was well attended. Thanks for a unanimous endorsement of the Committee.
Peter has had some success with funding applications and a successful bid to Foundation Derbyshire for first aid training means that the Committee will be better equipped to deal with unexpected challenges.
The Dickensian Market was a little disappointing. The French food did sell and we had a little interest in the association. A slight profit was made.
In June we had a visit from Dr. Michael Sumerville, who gave a fascinating and very informative talk 'Sherwood Boys: An Infantry Battalion at War'.
