Dinner Dance a Swinging Success
Burbage Community Hall was Buxton’s hottest venue on Saturday 10th March, where the Friends of Oignies annual Dinner Dance was the social event of the season! Members and their guests waltzed and tangoed to dance classics provided by Studio R. Between dances, the assembled company dined on a delicious 3 course dinner, expertly prepared by Derek, Sue H, Sue Q-C, Karen and Anne. Chris and Perce were on duty as serveur and plongeur respectively.
Thanks everybody for supporting the event and making it a great success. 46 people attended the event, raising a substantial figure, which will help to support future twinning visits.
